Dared Amplifiers on Ebay

Does anyone have any information on Dared amplifiers for sale on ebay with the indication that they are intended for 240 VAC...? They do a single ended design that is up for four hundred quid and uses 5881 valves. Just curious ya know.

If you're looking for a decent Chinese amp, you could do worse than Mr Liang, now trading as Audio Renaissance. You could get a single-ended 845 amp with 300b driver for about £700 all in. A bloody bargain IMHO-

I had a Liang and it was a very good amp, and is still going strong AFAIK.

I bought a Dared 'VP16' couple years ago of auction, it wasnt for 240V, but had a step transformer i was distraut that it had got dropped & creased the back of it, i couldnt live with it but it sounded good. I have also had one of those little 'MP5' which again was good..
