Some posting boards have an ignore option, ideal for if you don't want to clap you eyes on certain persons drivvel, is it possible with this boards?

You can of course ignore offending posts but it's easier said than done.

Should be, mate. pfm has that option, and they also use VBulletin software. I'm sure Nick will confirm :)

It is, providing you're not Admin. We have to read everything whether we like it or not.

How do you put someone on ignore, then?

Andr'e, go to your userCP & look at the left hand side & click on edit ignore list & fill it in ;)

It doesn't work if the poster in question is one of the mods ;)
Just tried it for trying's sake.

Oh Andre. Please let it be me you are referring too! It is isn't it? Oh go on - don't be such a tease you dear boy. Do tell.

You wouldn't by any chance be advocating self-censorship as a substitute for reasoned argument in the public domain surely?

Thank you

Howard.

I've never put anybody on my ignore list on this forum (I don't think); I certainly have on a couple of others though.

I have on another forum. Unfortunately you still see the post is there, albeit you can't read it so if you've any curiosity you'll end up reading it anyway!
