WTD - Upgrade From Denon AVR-2805 5.1 Amp

Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade my Denon AVR-2805. I will be keeping the video and audio separate, so I don't need HDMI inputs. My budget is up to £750, so does anyone have anything suitable?

As my Denon has pre amp outputs, another option would be to add a 5 channel power amp with the option of replacing the Denon with a surround processor at a later date.

I'm told the latest Yamahas are good and very well developed, but I haven't heard them and was never an AV fan.

Of used stuff, I do remember the Rotel stuff was good and well priced, but beyond that I cannot help I'm afraid.
