The distance between the top spikes on these brackets is 160mm in the left to right direction & also from front to back.

Hi

do you think these will take the weight of IAS Beaulieu speakers:scratch:

I reckon they would with little difficulty as long as you used something like Lag Bolts to bolt it to the wall ;) You'll need a solid brick wall though.

They don't appear to be know as this in the UK, but this should give you the idea of what i'm refering to (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-4-x-Satellite-Dish-LCD-Wall-Fixing-Bolt-Raw-Plug-/310203563214?pt=UK_ConEle_SatCableFreeview_RL&hash=item483992bcce) :)

Put it like this, i have a homemade shelf with at least 75lbs of clobber on it & it will easily take my weight as well (200lbs) :eyebrows: I used 3 of the same type bolts to hold it on the wall

Dan

Tricky to say, as I don't know the weight of the speakers!
Would they fit onto the shelf dimensions? If so, then I'd have thought that if you could fasten the brackets to the wall with decent Rawlbolts, then they'd be OK.

I'd hazard a guess & say 75lbs each, say 35Kg. I reckon you could sit on the brackets as long as they were well attached to the wall & it was solid brick, it might be uncomfortable though :eyebrows:

:lolsign: Those kind of bolts will handle up to a ton on a wall  Maybe more at the end of the day. They are used in aerial rigging, just like the ones i pointed out, but those are much more heavy duty ;)

Andr'e where has your post gone?

Nothing unusual :ner:

Shoot the turkey, me

Phil,
I've left a message for you on your profile page. If you could do what I suggest, then I'd be glad to discuss the brackets with you.

Cheers

Gosh, that was a long time ago!
I do still have them, but I have been toying with the idea of pressing them back into service. Can you give me a day or so to have a serious think about this? Sorry to be a pain.

No probs :)

Although ATC 11s are in my kit list, they haven't arrived yet. I've got the smaller Sound Org brackets where my Kans are, but feel the ATCs will be more stable on the larger version.

Something funny Shane?

I've had the same experience advertising a product and it sells 1 or 2 years later.

Waiting for the right buyer can take time! No harm, if in no rush of course!

Ah, yes - I'd forgotten about this advert - probably assumed that I'd withdrawn them from sale ages ago. Well, good luck selling all the stuff you've given up on!!
~In the meantime, if anyone knows of a set of these for sale, I'm sure that Derek will be very keen to hear from you.
