View Full Version : Black Jack Equipment Supports
I have some sets of these on the way, will be for sale via my website and e-bay shop as I have heard magnificent reports about them and in particular that they have replaced quite a few black ravioli supports (the ones that look like miniature bean bags and wobble all over the place). They are made from specially treated cork and give an immediate sonic up-grade. Not for sale for a few days so posted here as a tweak to gain interest. :)

So what's the special treatment then - would you care to elucidate David?

Specially treated means just that, special as in not public knowledge, in other words I don't know! :) Want to try a set?

Thanks, but no, not really!
Would they take the weight of a sub? They look big enough.

8KG per block so I would say yes!

I now have Black Jack isolation blocks under my pre amp, power amps, CD transport and DAC.
When I was given a few sets to try, I was rather dubious that they would work.
Well when they were taken away, it was as if all the dynamics of a system that I had been listening to, had just vanished.
Bottom line THEY WORK.

Can one get the same effect by cutting out a set from some old packaging and spraying it black to make it look pretty?

In a previous life under solid state amps, I used black ravioli, but they did not do much under valve driven kit, so I sold all my black ravioli.
It was Mario from Audio Note who introduced me to these on a home demo, and when he took them from under the kit before he left, the sound quality died, just like that!
There are two sizes, a smaller circular sections which I think were £15 each and used every where (3 per unit etc) and the larger ones where I used 4 under the much heavier amps, and these were £20 each.
Oh,can l try a set David;)
No problemo. Set on the way
