Interest Check:Beresford TC 7520

I have a snowboard course in a few weeks and may be short of some funds so might have to sell my dac.

It has the gator board fitted with LM4562 op amp and caiman psu.I also have the original op amp board which has the THS4032 and MLC5 / MLC6 ceramics removed,2 original op-amps and psu included as well.

Looking for about £175

sorry for late reply,been enjoying the sun along with too much food and drink ;)

I don't know how the caiman compares as i have not heard one but would imagine it is better than 7520 + gator board.

The dac is definitely for sale now,so open to offers.

just packed the dac away and noticed about 5 hairline scratches the longest about 20cm long,they are hardly noticable but because of this if someone buys at asking price i'll throw in a pair of Mark Grant Canare LV61S Analogue stereo interconnects 1.5m long.

So thats a TC 7520 with,

Gator board + LM4562 and THS4032 op amps
Caiman psu (ready for future upgrade on dac chip)
Original stock op amp board with MLC5 / MLC6 ceramics removed and 2 NE5532FE op amps
Stock TC 7520 psu
Canare LV61S 1.5m

£165+p&p

Here are some pictures of the dac, i tried to show the few scratches on it but was quite difficult t get with my camera.

I seem to hae misplaced te original op am board,it's in a cuboard somewhere so if anyone buys it,i will send it when i find it.

you have pm.

It's the same as the caiman apart from the dac chip,which can be upgraded by tirna electronics.

I think stan would be the best person to ask about sound quality differences as i have never heard a caiman.

revised listing,i cannot find the original op amp board so forget about that for the time being :doh:.

Is there a new toy come out or what? Im only selling mine as i need the money otherwise it would be going nowhere.

Im away for a week,so will deal with any offers or inquierys when i get back.

(And may just keep it anyway as money needed not as vital now)
