Hi Martin, shame you can't make it, it would have been good to meet another local AOS'er

Last nights Mahler concert at the Anvil was excellent. I freely admit to knowing little about classical music and this was only the third classical concert I have ever been to and my first time with a full orchestra. The Anvil is a venue I very much like as it's not too large and I found the sound made by nearly a 100 musicians in this relatively small space to be truly astounding, very glad I went:)

Glad it was good. The Anvil is a nice venue, isn't it? I heard Prokofiev there a few weeks ago and, as you say, the combined sound of the orchestra was awesome.
