View Full Version : Hi from Kalgoolire in the land of Oz
Hi all my name is mark, I stumbled across this forum and liked the tone and feel so here I am, been a hifi nut for years and a bit of a diyer when time permits.
Regards mark;)
I am currently using a fiio e7/e9 + lappy as source and audiotechnica AD700 phones for personal listening same source into home theater system (nothing special I'm sad to say) for general use. When on the go or at work a cowen d2 with the buds that came with it. I use flac files for all my music. I like lots of old stuff, rock, pink Floyd, folk, lots of stuff I am not even sure what to class it as. Thats a bit of a run down on me I love the friendly nature of this forum well done to all.
Regards mark;):stalks:

Hi Mark, welcome aboard the good ship Art of Sound. As you've spotted - friendly and good natured is what we excel at - mixed in with a bit of smuttiness and very occasionally hifi and music!
Enjoy the voyage! :)
Hi Mark
I see the usual ones have already welcomed you here, so I do extend the invitation too.... :)

Hi Mark and welcome. I was about to say you must be close to Perth until I looked it up - boy, you're not near anywhere, are you?! Well, Perth and Fremantle are the nearest I've been to you (and I went to school in Melbourne for a while). Have a good look round and hope you enjoy AoS. Cheers!
WA is a biiiig place.
I've spent an afternoon in Kalgoorlie (Hotel bar) after a spot of work out near Laverton.
