MY friend is selling a Pair of Hawthorne Trios for the cost him to build. I heard them a few times now and whilst not fully bedded in in the main driver just the most gut feeling yet clean and extended bass I heard. They would need to go in a reasonable sized room but certainly will create music
I think there is more to come from the sterlings in terms of scale and detail, these things take awhile to fully bed in, but already sound very good.
They have lot more impact than my speakers due to the two bass drivers in true Dipole confrigration
