Oracle has just released the Paris turntable, this is one very sweet deck offering superb styling and finishes, innovative designs, bespoke carbon fibre tone arm and matching cartridges.

Musically is one of the most involving and engaging tables we have ever heard at this price point (and way above too)
Available in four high gloss finishes, with or without lid the Paris also has a matching phono stage too.
All this adds up to a beautiful musical experiance.

Afternoon Marco,

The Paris starts at £3200 for the basic model and goes to £5000 for a fully loaded model with carbon fibre arm, Oracle cartridge, lid and hinges.

The performance of the deck is quite something.

Thanks, Tony. It must've cost quite a bit to make the plinth alone, and the paint job looks 'Ferrari class'!

Hi Marco,

Actually if you have ever seen/worked on a Ferrari I would would be upset lol!
The finish on the decks is nothing sort of superb, they are available in high gloss, black, red, white and grey.

The plinth base is only part of the story Marco the rest of the deck easily matches the plinth for quality and workmanship.

It is however sonically where this Oracle really hits mark, it is one of those rare pieces of equipment in audio that actually sounds better than it looks!

Lol - interesting... :eyebrows:

It's just that the paint job seems very well executed (the finish looks superb), and plinth wise, anything that isn't totally flat and rectangular is usually three times as expensive to make! ;)

I take your point on all the other stuff, and I'm sure that's the case. The Pro-Ject arm is also a goodie. I've heard one in isolation against some other similarly priced tonearms, and was impressed.

What's the cartridge - some sort of customised Ortofon? :)

Hi Marco,

The design was Jacques own inspiriation and I feel he has done a great job with the Paris (the phono stage also looks identical to the deck only small as well, plus come sin the matching finishes too)

The basic Paris will come with a choice of arm boards so you can select your weapon of choice.
The Carbon fibre unit is pretty damn good and matched the Paris nicely.

Cartridge wise it is a high output unit (1.6mv) I believe is Ortofon or possibly Benz, Oracle have been at Atlanta last week so I will confirm later tomorrow Marco.

There was a Paris in years gone by - the shaved corner is very distinctive & isn't something you forget in a hurry. There was also an Alexandria, I seem to remember that one had suspension towers & a wood surround to the plinth.

Tony - you might want to correct the typo at the bottom of the page to "bare" - "Prices start from £3200 for the bear deck and arm board" - unless of course there really is a brown fur finish available? ;)
