Anyone use these under there equiptment our they worth the expense?

Go to your local DIY store and buy some foam pipe lagging - a metre only costs a quid or so.

Use a sharp knife to chop it into 1 1/2" or 2" lengths and pop a set of 4 under your components. Voila! Dirt cheap and highly effective isolation! :eyebrows:

I used both the Cerabase and Cerapucs for years in diverse applications.
I thought they were quite good and that they minimized objectionable colorations which I had experienced with other devices such as BDR cones, for instance.
The Cerapucs did seem to attenuate or lighten bass a tad to achieve their results--as when I used them under my DCS P8i.

The Cerabase I thought nearly ideal. I had used them as the feet for a Pagode stand, but later I employed them under my Shindo 301 TT to great effect in place of the footers which come with the table and somewhat against my dealers advice. I trusted my ears. They really took the performance of the analog rig up a notch, revealing an ease and delicacy which was 300b-like, also improved dynamics and apparent resolution.

Stillpoints now makes a top of the line version of their footers which looks to be very similar to the Cerabase. It is available in alumininum or stainless steel, I believe. The stainless looks very much like a Cerabase and might be comparable or even better.

After posting my reply I realised that I hadn't tried some of these "foam rings" under my XTZ amp since I bought it, so dug a set out the other night and they really did increase the soundstage and imaging :eyebrows:

Cheap tweak: try wine corks cut into thirds under pre amps or the top half (the bulbous bit) of champagne corks under power amps. Works well with valve kit....
