THORENS TD 166 MKII are these any good? One about to end on fleabay near me........... very soon!

Never owned one Tim, but a good turntable by reputation, I think. Certainly worth a lot more than it is currently going for, (£46 with 12 mins to go) but that will change in the last few seconds, I expect! You may get an advantage not having to pay the £60 delivery.

Ended at £155.00 and was £26.00 when I spotted it, quite a leap in the last few minutes. But what the fark am I doing looking at turntables :scratch:

The 166 was a pile of poo in comparison with the better TD160. I can't believe how much difference the cast inner platter was when compared to the plastic thingy the 166 was afflicted with..

Get a standard TD160 or a 150 for £50 and grin from ear to ear :lol:
