In transporting the TT to a local dealer, I uncovered a fault in the TT leads. I can cut out the area where the break is (right channel, positive cable) and solder that back on or upgrade to a much better interconnect.
I did temporarily mount a iConnect interconnet in so that I could get a chance to listen to the new cartridge the dealer installed (a Rega Bias 2), but I'm not all that pleased with this cable. Thus the question.
What type and quality of wire should I be introducing. Shielded or twisted pairs? Wire size, quality, and so on.
Any advice would be most welcome.
