Selling my cased pair of Newcomb TR-91 step-up transformers.
This has two gain settings 1:9 and 1:18, and a ground lift switch, when in use this has made it the quietest SUT I've ever used.
On 1:18 into a standard stage, it will suit cartridges from 0.2mv to 0.5mv output, and on lower gain setting cartridges from 0.4mv to 1mv. I've used cartridges of input impedance varying from 3ohms to 12 ohms and it's been a perfect match (brands I've used it with include Lyra, Ortofon, Koetsu, Shelter and Audio Technica, all to really good effect).
Anyway it's a really great sounding SUT, beautifully made, and I'm looking for £175 for it including special delivery in the UK.
