Hi

Went to local bootsale today and bought a Akai ME25S "Midi Programmable Note Separator"

Orignal box and manual, not looked at it properly but i dont have a clue what it does! and would it be worth anything?

Hey! Im so green...... I haven't got one of those. Does this mean my notes need separating? I think we should be told!:scratch::eek:

I think the main benefit is that it allows you to play several different synths from different parts of a midi control keyboard, at the same time - i.e. the first octave can have the bass, the middle can have a pad sound, and the top can have the lead part - some info here, on an old ebay ad - worth £125 if this sale is anything to go by... :) Although this one (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Akai-ME25S-Midi-Programmable-Note-Separator-/160566422567?pt=UK_MusicalInstr_Access_RL&hash=item2562812c27#ht_500wt_1156) only went for £35... :(

Akai Professional were good products i used to own an 'AX73' keyboard with 'S950' Sampler..
