Don't have the 600's, but have a pair of HD650's with a Musical Fidelity X-Cans V2

I have the HD600 and HD580 and use a Darkvoice 332 tube headphone amp.

Headphone system is:
Acer One (Foobar) > (usb) > Musiland Monitor 02 US > Darvoice 332 > HD600

Where did you buy the 332? Any mods done to it?

Bought if off a chap on head-fi a couple of years ago.

Basic mods: did some tube rolling; ended up with Svetlana 6S19P-B and Eriksson 403B valves, a QED power cable and replaced the amp's fuse with an 'audiophile' one (no idea if that has improved the sound).
The DarkVoice 332 is now discontinued, but the 336SE is still available and there's the Little Dot Mk IV as an alternative that works extremely well with the HD600.

I use HD600s with a Creek OBH11. Cheap (other than Chinese kit) and effective. The combination is a little too polite on rock but otherwise open, neutral and detailed.
