My question is this:
I would like to get the best from my iPad to my Naim
Pre/power/rega combo
Currently streaming lossless files from iPad to airport express using AirPlay, then 3.5 to phonograph pair into amp
I know the dac in the AE is not up to much so can anyone advise of a simple upgrade that doesn't include adding multiple pieces of hardware?
I have cut my system downt to basics and have even found with my rega r1's I was able to loose my flatcap power supply without hardly any sonic difference (in my opinion) so don't want to overcomplicate.
Or alternitavely the best hardwired way of extracting files from iPad.
