View Full Version : The Census?
Has everyone done it yet, or is it just me lagging behind?
I was out of the Country last Sunday night, so by my book I shouldn't have to do it.......... :ner:

Filled out, need to send it.
Just did mine online this morning. Started off very well but by the time I got to towards the end I'd sort of lost interest. For example, why on earth would I need to answer questions relating to marital status of my children (eldest being 14) & given that we have recently moved, I had to type the old address in for all of us. I did "loose the head" with it a bit. Hopefully the house number and post code will be sufficient.
One thing is for sure tho, I am now officially a Jedi! LMAO
It does say its an offence not to complete it but I wonder how many will and how the justice system will cope with the 1000's who dont bother!

It should have been filled out after the 27th March - the instructions said so, and that's only last week.
Ages ago ?
You've f**ked it up mate ;)
It should be completed "on 27th March 2011, or as soon as possible afterwards."
Not sure what the closing date is. I know I'm not expecting to win anything tho..............
Well I was away until Tuesday, so pish to them..........
Haven't got to the religion question yet, but I'll probably put Jedi :eyebrows:
Do it on-line, it's much less hassle ;)

I've started it now, just getting bored and I'm only at Q9!
Yeah, did mine online this morning, took about 15 minutes I guess. Shame there wasn't a box for a "rant" - then it would have taken about 15 hours!
Yup here it is, Q20............. I'm officially a Jedi :)

They'd have needed bigger servers for all the comments :lolsign:
Just noticed that its also an offence to give incorrect info.! I wonder how I can prove that I'm actually a Jedi if I'm asked to prove it???
Maybe I should put that Music is my religion, as I sure as shit don't practice or believe in anything else

:lolsign: I wouldn't worry, after all how can a christian prove they are a christian
I left that section blank, it's not compulsory ;)
Well I changed it ...... I put Music as my Religion, which to be honest is the most honest answer I could give
Wish I'd thought of that before I'd done mine - I'd have put music down as being my "in a registered same sex partnership" other half... Music was my first love, and it will be my last...

I'm late again. Just a thought here, I wonder how that guy with the metal hooks for hands, preaches hatred of the West in the streets, has four wives and and who knows how many children, and collects a large government pay giro handles his census form? I mean for feck sake how does he hold the biro for starters?
My local post box was literally jammed up with forms being sent and I bet mine got mangled and if rained then all the ink would be all over the place. As I said, just a ponder:scratch:

My oath Marco, do you realise that in 100 years from now one of your descendents when checking out his/her family tree will only find a brown bum print for a great grand dad  ?

And this data is supposed to be kept confidential by peple like this ,,,, BOLLOCKS ... :steam:
the amount of crap one has to fill in goes far beyond what local authorities need to better determine what services need providing ...
And .. as someone already asked .. what does happen if you are out of the country ..:lol::lol:

Ours has been filled in and sent off. I am not sure what all the fuss is about really. If the government or another agency really want to know what is going on in your house they only need check the electoral register to find out who is living there, at least officially. It is not like they are asking for bank details and inside leg measurements (though if they wanted those too they could no doubt get them anyway). All these 'anti' comments sound a bit 'Daily Mail' to me

Agreed, and it also smeers rather too much (causing 'skidder-ettes') - a bit like Izal... :eyebrows:
If they send more forms, I'll use 'em to light the barbecue next time!
Marco.

Did mine online. I was thinking of putting down 'Jedi' but after I heard the guy on the radio, the wally who calls himself head of the church of Jedi, no way. So 'No religion' it is, then. I wonder if they didn't use 'Atheist' because they feared Sun readers wouldn't understand the word? Actually, 'No religion' is fine with me because anything else just suggests another religion ;)
I actually changed it to Music as a religion, perhaps a little silly I know, but actually it's kind of the truest answer I could give. It was also my little bit of self-defiance, as I find the question intrusive .... who's bloody business is it what beliefs I have on that level but mine!
It's difficult to know just what they will do with such an enormity of data to input.
60% of Londons inhabitants have not filled in the form, probably because non of these fuckers speak english

I had a visit from a council official today as a complaint was made due to a load of garden rubbish being burnt - just garden stuff & nothing else...
The person that came round was a 'Pollution Control Officer' called Iwona Wojszczyk
