Wot, no one wanted a bare-knuckle brawl with you down the local tonight Andre, or did they have the gall to play something on the jukebox that "grown men" shouldn't be subjected to? ;)

I take care of my fingernails. Wear them so that the edges extend just beyond the tips of my fingers, and usually file them every day. It's all part of getting up, showering, shaving, using a deodorant and combing my hair.

Bittenfinger nails gives me the creeps. Ugh!

Detest body piercings. I find that quite repellent. But "beauty is in the eye of the beholder".

I've moisturized my skin since I was 17, I have some 20 odd aftershave's in my collection and love nice clothes that fit me well and flatter my tall, skinny body.
And I've had more women than you've had hot dinners. Women love a well cared for man who puts himself out for them.
You, are a dinosaur sir :)
PS. I work VERY hard - often seven days and my finger nails are really short! Lol.

I have to say I am sort of with Andre on this - I've never understood why a bloke would want to wear an ear ring - doesn't bother me if they do, I just don't get it.

I'll confess to wearing aftershave but I only have one brand (Kouros - none of yer shite). Why do you need thirty? - Do you blend them? I think Andre recommends a dab of Mobil Three in One behind each ear before he goes out on the town:lol:

I have more than one aftershave for the same reason you have more than one CD.
PS. I can't bloody stand Kouros. Different strokes and all that.

I wear deodorent and find people that don't and consequently smell of BO offensive, also i wear after shave and always have done although i don't shave that often, i have had a stubble beard since i was 16 due to a skin condition that makes regular shaving a very sore experience, call me a poof if you want i don't care, i smell good to me and my wife and kids who like to buy me it

I have no hair left to comb and i have grown out of earings and ponytails, had all those when i was twenty something, unlike some here
:sofa:

I don't/can't do hair styles any more i have a selection of some silly and some normal hats nowadays A to keep warm in the winter and B to stop me getting burnt and developing skin cancer like my father has now got.

I like nice clothes for going out in, just like to be comfy at home and usually live in shorts and a t shirt, each to thier own

Probably because they are there? :eyebrows: Both my ears are pierced, i just don't think about the ear rings simply because they hardly ever get removed  I don't feel like i'm wearing them, unlike clothes that get removed when one hits the sack, same with a watch. But if you don't remove something it tends to feel that you aren't wearing it, it's just you :)

What i find odd is why a bloke would be motivated to have a prince albert

What you have to remember is Andre's frame of reference - the time-capsule he inhabits ends around 1973, so Old Spice or Brut might just be acceptable, but far better to smell of Party 7 or Watney's Red Barrel.

Dirty hands and broken finger nails were inevitable from working "down the mine" (try Wikipedia if you don't know what a "mine" was - we used to have quite a few of them in this country, and they weren't the same as anti-personnel explosive devices which still cause worldwide problems years after being deployed.) Long hair was of course acceptable in '73, but the only piercing that was acceptable was the bit of shrapnel your old man got in the war. Probably from a mine.

One of my girlfriends wore skirts so short (only a few inches below 'sea' level), she had to wear matching knickers to maintain a sense of modesty.
