Will NVA passive suit my Classe Seventy?

Over in Private Exhibitions Shane is selling an NVA passive. Will it suit my Classe Seventy poweramp?

The manual states input impedance 70 KOhms and Sensitivity 900mV for rated output.

My speakers, Celestion Ditton 22'sa, are reasonably efficient, so I don't realkly need any more gain.

I just want control of volume (my NAD PP2 phono amp is too loud straight into the amp) and switching of sources.

I work nights and am about to go to sleep. It would be really cool to wake up this evening to some down to earth AOS advice and before Shane has other offers

Hi Matthew,

I'd love to say "yes, go for it!", but as I've got no experience of this amp, I can't.

My gut feeling says that it'll be very well designed and should do the job nicely, but just to be sure, why not ask Richard, from NVA, on his own site:

Thanks Marco for your help. I have done as you suggested and posted my question on the forum you linked me to. I have also spoken to Jerry (jandl100) who I bought the Classe from, and the verdict from both parties is that I should be good to go.

All that remains is to ring Shane and part with the readies!

I'll post my conclusions at a later date.

No worries. Btw, in case you didn't know, "Dr Bunsen Honeydew" is Richard Dunn, the guy who builds NVA amps.
