I thought i'd have a bit of a lay in this morning & do the shopping some time tomorrow, so i set my alarm clock for 8AM ;) Of course i totally forgot about the damn clocks going forward so unknown to me that 8AM call was actually 9AM

By the time i had read the papers had my breakfast & done the washing up it was about 11.15 - wrong! It was 12.15 & here i am on my second cup of coffee that i'd normally drink at 10AM at 1PM in the afternoon :mental:

Why oh why are we still altering the damn clocks when we are no longer at war? :steam:

C'mon - it's no surprise that the clocks go forward on the last Sunday of March.
It happens every year, just as the clocks go back on the last Sunday in October.

It's continued use is to encourage people to spend more time outside during daylight hours (medical grounds on itself) and enjoying recreational and sporting activities (again medical grounds).
