Hello All,
can anyone plese tell me if the above deck is a reliable ,easy to operate,good sounding deck please?Thanks in anticipation.

It's a very good deck but the mechanisms sometimes play up in the loading / unloading department. If you can find one in good nick they are a a very good deck to have.

If you can get a 930 or 940 would be a better bet. They'll do 24/44.1 with analogue inputs. I have a 940 and it is very good.

Thank`s for the advice dave which put me off the je-640,The Pioneer ct959 cassette deck i bought from you three years ago is is working fine,it`s one hell of a deck.Cheers Dave.

I acted on the recomendation of the sony je 930/je940 player
i bought a sony je-930 from a certain auction site eight days ago.Still no sign
of it in the post if it d very muchosent arrive by lunch tomorrow i`ll gee em up,thanks a lot Bernie let you know what i think to it if i get it.
