A new me from now.All past intrests in vintage audio equipment are done, recently sold my collection of vintage gear to a friend, the few items i held back i've also decided to let go yesterday hence the new me..

Presently using a FLAC front end as in my signature, couple of changes will happend by end of this year as the amp is only a temp measure, i'm just too busy for hifi to even be an intrest anymore, music only from now for me, should have done this years ago! ..I'll not be spending much time around here from now but will pop in from time to time for a nosey..

Thanks :)

Welcome to AoS, Andre. What types of music do you listen to? :ner::ner::ner::ner::ner::ner::ner::ner:

Sorry to hear about your loss of interest mate, you were one of the 1st people i would have thought about asking for advice, and the advice you've given me has always been sound. Anyway i hope your new interests are just what you're looking for, and you never know a break from it all just may rekindle your lost passion for hifi, i hope it does.

Take it easy fella:cool:

Same thing happened to me: that's hobby interests for you.
You'll come back to it at some point in the future, but do enjoy what ever's keeping you so busy right now.

Blimey! "Welcome" New Andre, I hope your soul-cleansing works out for you matey.

I'll let you into a little secret, but don't tell anyone else - I'm amazed at myself for having stuck around here for so long. Usually, with whatever hobby or obsession I'm immersed in, I get bored after a few months and move on. Happened with photography, cars, bikes, (pedal and motor variety) off-roading, walking, camping - you get the picture. But what has kept me hanging around here for so long is not the hifi - probably not even the music, although that will always be a constant in my life. No - it's more than that - its the people behind the posts, and you're one of them buddy - so if for no other reason, hope we continue to see you around here, if maybe not quite so prolific - although by resurrecting a "sleeper" account you've got no chance of beating your own "average posts" record anyway I suspect! ;)

Whatever happens, hope you're happy and it works out for you.

Gosh, Andre, I'm surprised but whatever does it for you, mate. If you've kept the interest in music that's all that counts, really. Do hang around, your advice has always been very welcome.

Andre is dead long live RareBird :)

I for one am glad you will be sticking around even if its only to contribute in the music section of the forum. Occasional postings will be better than none, as AOS would be a much poorer place if you were to go all together.

Regards and very best wishes to you Andre

+1 (with knobs on)!

Andre is one of the most honest and genuine people I've ever had the pleasure to know, with a standard of morals rarely in evidence today - a true gem of a guy.

We also share a similar (warped) sense of humour, which produces some classic moments of entertainment.... :eyebrows:

Long live Yorkshire's SEX GOD!!

Marco.
