Nikon D60 and assorted stuff.

I paid $300.00 US, it is 2 to 3 years old with maintainance and cleaning records.
This thing is just way to complicated for me to even turn on.
My wife wanted a good camera so I hooked her up.

Where's Hammish on this?

sweet, D60 is a very nice camera.

I had the D40x and the moved to the D5000 and I sold that to get the D300s

I'd love to be able to get a few new lenses but money will not allow that yet

What kind of things is she interested in shooting?

Our soon to be 2 year old was the insperation to get a more capable camera.
And I just priced a telephoto lens and can say with some degree of confedance that it's the lenses that cost the most money.but even a proper add on flash can be $400.00 or more!

Lovely camera, Jeff. Do you have the manual? You need to do some serious RTFM with kit like that, it's the only way to get to grips with it.

Yup,got it ,bigger than the Sacramento phone book,It's the big white book in the first pic.I'll help her but it's my wifes camera so it's her gig.
I just got her a pro tripod,a out board nikon flash, and a upgrade eye peice, battery case for the flash/extra batterys and scratch protector for the screen. So she has everything.
