How much tea do you consume in a day?

I detest coffee, always been a tea drinker. roughly 20 cups a day

5 or 6 cups of (fresh) coffee a day.

8 glasses of red wine each evening! :lol:

I'd swap to red wine but as there's only me I'd end up drinking the whole bottle and then not want to get up in the morning. I know as I experimented with this strategy when I was self employed - most days I didn't get started until 2pm:(

swapped to green tea a while back, takes a bit of getting used to. No milk and six sugars for me...

I know dude but he couldn't be arsed to cook and so he was killing two birds with one stone. Big drinker. Last time I saw him he was trying to cut down.

Oh i can see the logic, it's just the thought of what it possibly tastes like that repulses :eyebrows:

I tried it once it is bad but not as bad as you might think. Like Bailey's Irish Cream would be if you made your own by fermenting it underneath a radiator.

Never drunk tea or coffee. Just never liked it. Beer, now that's a different matter..

Adverage weekday is coffee at just after 7 am, coffee 10am, tea 1pm, tea when i get in, glass of red wine with dinner, coffee at bed time, boring eh

Weekends If i'm working much as above or if i'm not i like a few beers and then a few more and then a few more and then maybe a scotch or three

No precise routine, but my day might run as follows:

2 cups of freshly brewed coffee (prefer a medium roast arabica to robusta, such as Columbia or Guatamala). If I choose to make tea when I rise it will be Lapsang Souchong.

Around miday maybe another cup of coffee, but more likely a cup of 'monkey brew'.

Afternoon tea will be either Darjeeling or an Assam.

No more coffee as I like my tea weak and my coffee strong. Drinking coffee after 16:00 is guaranteed to kep me awake - and I'm not going to mess about with 'decaf'!

After dinner maybe a cup of Lapsang or Darjeeling or some green China tea.

Then I hit the spirits: either a Janneau Armagnac or a Laphroiag ...

I had to pack in coffee (the real stuff) alltogether because of the palpatations - it is a bit scary.

5 or 6 cups of Earl Grey tea a day for me plus one cup of instant coffee. Fresh coffee on a Sunday when there is a bit more time.
If you drank Earl Grey for a week you wouldn't go back to ordinary tea.

Na i'll stick with Yorkshire 'T' a great brew :)
