Because I want to.
Why do you ask?
.... I just like to try different things. :)
I've just bought a MF A1Pro CDP, and also there's a MHDT Paradisea DAC on its way as part of a swap deal for my Audionote DAC Zero.
And I've a Wadia 830 cdp for sale too!
... I just like to try different things.
The TAG is a very nice piece of kit!

Sorry I should have read your signature, the box swapping afflicition is explanation enough!
I must admit, your question did make me smile, Nathan - I think it is fair to say that Jerry's box-swapping is legendary!
Having said that, what this means is Jerry has many happy customers - I dare say he knows a thing or two about packaging hifi, and always offers his kit at reasonable prices, usually just getting his money back and not in any way a "dealer" - so if anyone is interested in this (I would be, if I had the funds...) then buy with confidence. I always coveted the TAG McLaren kit, and I dread to think what this would have cost new...
Good luck with the sale, Jerry.
I have an upgraded Audiolab DAX, which I think is very similar to this (if not the same beast under the skin), and I can testify to how nice it is ;)
P.S. I bought mine second hand, I couldn't have afforded it or the CDM new, certainly not the cost they were back in the 90's

Cor - what a write-up.
Thanks Alex - is 15% commission still OK? ;)

Yes, I can attest that dealing with Jerry is a pleasure, and the kit is always as described.

LOL! That's the understatement of the 21st century. Jerry swaps boxes more often than Noel Edmonds.

You might have to explain who Noel Edmonds is to our younger and foreign members ;). Jerry on the other hand is a box swapping legend in his own life time.

Surely the entire world MUST know of Sir Noel Edmonds? Jerry's fame is restricted to the hi-fi fraternity of course. :)
They'll likely have heard of Noel Edmonds, but perhaps not of the programme (Swap Shop) you're referring to ;)
Marco.
