Hello there folks.
I've been a lurker on AoS for quite a while now so thought it was about time I introduced myself properly.

My name is Martin and I live in a small town just outside of Dublin, Ireland.
My musical tastes are varied. Rock, Metal, Prog, Classical... so it could be Black Sabbath one moment and La Boheme the next.

My current Kit is as follows...

Analogue:
Townshend Elite Rock II, Merlin, Excalibur, Benz-Micro Ace SL.

CD:
Musical Fidelity A3.5

Digital:
SB Touch > Beresford Caiman+

Amplification:
Musical Fidelity X-LPSv3
Musical Fidelity X-A2 or DIY (currently AudioZone AMP2 clones)

Speakers:
Reference 3A Veena (mildly modified)

Cables:
Mixture of DIY, Van Den Hul, Chord and Supra

Looking forward to participating a bit more in future!

Hi Martin, welcome to AoS chap :) I'm not so sure you'll be so keen on MF kit after reading some of the posts on here tbh. I can't say i am very impressed even though it does sound good to my ears ;)

Looks like we have all be talking too much & ignoring everything, sorry you didn't get a reply to your introductory post a little sooner

Chill out, put your feet up & i hope you enjoy your stay fella, all the very best

Welcome to AOS nice system Martin.

I love the Ref 3A speakers, wonderful if you can get the set up just right.

Some photos of your system for the gallery section of the forum would be great if you can.

Enjoy yourself and have fun.

Thanks for the welcome gents.

I'm aware of the anti MF camp although I think the dislike is more due to the companies way of doing business than the products. I quite like their older Amps which is why the X-A2 has stayed put for so long.

I don't have any up to date pictures of the system and there have definitely been changes since since I last got the camera out.
I'll try to remedy that in the near future.

Edit: Pics now up in the gallery.

Hi Martin, and welcome to AoS. As you've been lurking, then I'm sure you will have a good idea of what we are all about, so get stuck in - a very friendly place to swap stories, give each other advice, and generally chew the hifi cud!

I see you've already posted some pics (many thanks, I'm so nosey!) so I'll head to that thread!

In the meantime, enjoy the forum and have fun.
