Hi Chris,
Welcome to AoS :)
Nice to see you here and glad you enjoyed the noise we made! :eyebrows:
I thought there were a few other nice systems, too, particularly Big Dur's horns (on the ground floor) when playing jazz or anything containing acoustic instruments. Their dynamic range was quite incredible!
Anyway, enjoy and get stuck in. What system are you using now? I hope you find a nice pair of 66s soon! I'd bid on these, if indeed you aren't doing so already:

;)
Marco.
P.S Could you add your basic location details to your profile, please? Cheers!
Hello Chris, welcome to AoS, and glad you enjoyed Marco & the Lad's efforts over at the show. Good luck with finding some 66's - what system will you be playing them with, and what sort of music will you be playing on them?
Enjoy the forum!
Welcome
Glad you enjoyed the system we had a lot of great comments
I also enjoyed Big Dur horns on Saturday evening very dynamic as Marco said great with jazz

Thanks for the welcome guys.
I've seen the ebay Ditton 66s but two problems. 1. They are 300 miles away and he wont post, (asked if i can arrange courier). 2. Has a broken HF2000, (could be replaced). No deal breakers, if price is right then Ill go for them
Im currently using a partially modded SL1210 and trying to decide whether to go heavy (Mike New) or light (Dave Cawley) platter and bearing. Jelco 750, DL103, ebony body and soon to have ruby cantilever and paratrace diamond, Minimax phono stage with Nos valves, Minimax pre with Nos valves, Exposure IVDR and lovely walnut Epos 14s with proper stands. Digital with Mac Mini and home built (well assembled) Non OS Dac from Hong kong.
Thinking about buying a Masteround 845 and selling my Exposure gear, (also have a XIX Power supply and VII Pre). But also fancy a Tube Distinction power amp to go with my minimax. Thoughts anyone?
I listen to electronic, indie, vocal, pop, rock all sorts really most of which would probably be fine on the digital gear but i like messing with analogue.
cheers
