Is this the speaker that Ken Kessler really rates?

KK says one thing in HFN and often the opposite elsewhere (trade mags in the past I remember). Don't believe a word of it and always read between the lines on Martin Colloms' reviews over the centuries too.....

There have been many versions of this concept over the last twenty years (I like the Witts of all of 'em but I digress) and given a large room and timber-frame walls, they sound very good.

£1500 for a used pair is a great price and indicates their real worth today, rather than the aspirational pricing they had at the time (and still more than do today in current form). I'd certainly consider these at this price.

These have had new grills/defraction foam and paws fitted and the price has been adjusted to reflect this so now £1995

Bertino,
It's nice that you've found the Art of Sound, but did you only join to take advantage of the sales that are offered?
We would expect new members to go first to the Welcome area in order to introduce themselves. This is what was requested of you when you joined & you should do so before you carry out any other activities on the forum.

Thank you.
