Hi chaps , I'm new to the forum and not sure how to navigate this site yet, I posted something but I can't seem to find it again, so here goes,Many years ago I was involved in a Hi-Fi shop in Stockport called Bespoke Audio with Albert and Barry, hence my current System ...Trio LO7D t/table, Dynavector 10x5 cartridge plus a few others, Spectral DMC 12 pre-amp, Spectral interconnects, Albarry M408 power amps (rebuilt by Neil Burnett 5 or 6 years ago and Music Works Cryogenically frozen mains leads)Trio LO1T tuner (I still have the matching LO1A amplifier) Allison 3 speakers, speaker cable Chord rumour cryo'd, Quadraspire tables with acrylic shelves and cryo'd legs, t/table and pre-amp power supplies on Music Works acrylic stands, mains block and all power leads Music Works cryo'd.The music room is sound proofed with it's own ring main and the earths are separated and spiked outside the room, I've tried my best to pick brains over the years to achieve a quality sound, it used to sound fantastic but the bass drivers on the 3s have packed up, so I'm looking for a spare pair of bass drivers if anyone knows where I can get some, I know a repair kit is available and if that's the best I can do it will have to be, I have borrowed a pair of speakers for the time being, I did recently however have the pleasure of hearing the new Albarry M608s with the soon to be launched Albarry pre-amp and it was fantastic, musical, articulate, fast with beautiful timing and totally involving, the new set up looks marvellous as well and I think you will be hard pushed to find a better amplification system, this will be of interest to those of you admiring Albarrys in the past, it's great to see such a following of fine music, keep enjoying chaps.

Hi Alan, welcome to AoS. I'm trying to recall where Bespoke Audio was in Stockport - it sounds familiar, but I just can't remember where it was?

Hi Keith, Bespoke started on the A6 near Stepping Hill hospital not far from the Crown pub, next door to multi-copy, I think it's fast food place now, then we moved next door to the Alma Lodge hotel on the A6 Stockport. We had some very interesting Hi-Fi back then. best regards, Alan.

Enjoy AoSHi Alex, thank you for the welcome, I will figure out how to put photos on the site soon, I don't have a CD player but I have a wide range of music, I like classical but I have to be in the mood for it, I like soul,R&B, instrumental stuff, I don't like heavy metal, but I've just bought Guns & Roses because I think Sweet child of mine is a classic. I buy LPs from Diverse Vinyl,or Classic LPs on the net. best regards Alan

Thanks Alan, yes I remember it now in Hazel Grove/Great Moor.

I guess you're not too far from me in Derbyshire? I live in New Mills.
