View Full Version : RG59 cable (maybe)

Guys, I just need a bit of advice as I want to extend (replace) the digital cable that goes from my cable modem to the socket on the wall. Looking around it looks like RG59 with 'F' type male (screw on) connectors is the way to go. The current cable is unmarked so theres no reference there.
Any advice welcome....Thanks

I'd imagine you are on the right track ;) 50 ohm cable is generally only used on transmitters so RG59U or whatever should do as a suitable digital cable. I seem to remember that i was using CT100 or it's equivalent with F connectors though :scratch: Bloody foreign TV aerials :eyebrows:

Just for info...all wired in and seems to be working OK....not bad all round.
