Mine was some unknown song by some unknown group on the day I was born (although conversely, Marco has a copy ), but certainly certain songs have influenced me - mainly in a music writing capacity, but also in a direction decision capacity.

The UK chart doesn't bear thinking about, but I was very pleased to see that in the US chart it was one of my all-time favourite soul tunes... Killing Me Softly by Roberta Flack. I'll have to dig out my copy when I get home!
