    hello everyone...

my name is florian from frankonia / south germany and I'm a music lover over the last 30 years. i played in different bands over the last years and collecting music from punk, rockabilly, reggae, jazz, soul, funk, folk, dub, to whatever, there is a stream of music out there... my latest project is called boozoo bajou over the last 10 years and for example on our last record from 2009 we had rumer as a guest singer, who got now i think some success in the uk.

my hi-fi obsession started 3-4 years ago when i bought myself a pair of klipsch cornwall III. me and my friends call them "boxes of fun" and i still love this powerful direct sound.

with amps i had a bit more experiments. i started with a unison unico p. then followed by the welter wt-500 se (6C33) monoblocks & a old fisher sa-100 pp (EL84) but my most favorite amp right now is my new ederer PL-82 se in a wilimzig/gysemberg circuit. one of the best & underrated tubes i heard so far.

now i want to lift up my old technics 1210 to a better sonic level and thats the reason why i landed here in this forum....

    Hi Florian,
Thanks for your introduction. It's always interesting to hear things from the perspective of a musician when discussing audio gear so I'm sure you'll become a valued member of AoS. I'm also sure you'll find plenty of friendly help with your record player questions.

    Cheers

Hello Florian, and welcome. Great to see a musician who still likes vinyl

I'll answer your question on the 1210 over on that thread.
