    I own the original UK vinyl and the CD version in the fat, grey double case (as opposed to the slimline, normal-sized CD case) and they both sound really good to me.

    it arrived to day,ive just finished cleaning it and on first listen its absolutely stunning!

    Nice one Jamie it is simply stunning on vinyl and a lesson to all in mastering. I was very lucky to see them perform it twice at Earl's Court in 1979 and 1980! Blew my mind at the age of 16!

    sweet,u2 did the same to me back in 87,before bono turned into a self righteous preaching turd ,i arrived home,bought a strat,grew my hair long,dyed it black....... lol

    Absolutely love my eighties, barcode free copy of The Wall, it sounds superb but the recent re-issues I just do not like. I cannot understand what the hell they have done with them.

    Yeah, the one I am referring to is the recent one in that cheap tat of a cardboard case.
