    Default Audioquest Type 4 Question

My father has just aquired, some brand new Audioquest Type 4 Speaker Cable. They look interesting, and feel pretty nice.

These have different style, compared to the older versions from 15 + years ago.

Are both generations still the same cable inside?

Maybe. Maybe not Shane. Things move on. Why not email Audioquest and ask them?

(it's good cable by the way, I have some)
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Dunno. Bought it new a couple of years ago. Might be selling off a load of speaker cables including these, 'cos I'm sticking with my Transparent Audio stuff.

Mine are packed away at the moment, but from what I recall, that looks like the old one with a braided sleeve added.

My old stuff just had a smooth blue outer dielectric, no fancy coverings.

I have some which is 4 solid core conductors. Sounds like 1mm T&E to me......a bit dull and ordinary.
