I've been following this thread with interest, mainly just to ensure that things didn't get out of hand, and would like to congratulate Oliver for the patient way he's handled himself, in the face of a rather frustrating situation.

I've exchanged a few emails in the past with Martin Clarke, the boss of DoGoodAudio, and have always found him to be courteous and professional. That said, however, this situation has not been handled at all well. I'd hope it's just a blip and that he'll make good this matter, ASAP, to Oliver's full satisfaction. Accordingly, I shall be following the thread with interest.

Aside from the grammatical error I completely agree. It's certainly what I had to do with my own business, in order to get to where I am now.

    Thanks Marco,

I dealt with a lot of internal and external customers and rarely have I ever seen an irate customer come out on top so best to try all the legitimate channels to resolve an issue. Things go wrong for whatever reason, what matters in Customer Service is how you put it right. At the moment they STILL havent responded to my efforts to contact them so im totally reliant on Paypal to refund me.

If all else fails, ill have to pop up and try and speak face to face with someone.

They might have done them now but CH hasn't updated yet. That does happen.

Fingers crossed Oliver gets his pennies back. If the shop had closed down you'd think there would be some mention of it on the interweb?

A shame this has happened and had to get PayPal involved but at least we got there in the end.

Xmas Post Office temps on the rob then.

They had about 7 albums off me once. Good stuff too. Mountain, Bobby Womak, Sly & The Family Stone. The one consolation was it probably massively improved the quality some poxy student's record collection.

That's good but a little confusing, why on Earth didn't they respond when you tried to contact them? I'm assuming Kirstie works at Dogood?

Oh my god! There's nothing wrong with the bidet is there?

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Its hard to believe they sent them A) they usually update via email when an item is posted (they didnt) B) they never responded to a single effort to contact them C) They ignored PayPal's efforts to contact them D) They only acted after a member here shoved my post on their face.

All I can say is thank you to those who messages me privately with the info that they had been in contact with the shop via a private connection. I am confident I only have a refund due to your effort.

The refund had not come via PayPal efforts. No emails have been sent or received from PayPal and my case is still "open" at the moment.
