You can bet somebody will think it looks wonderful and buy it.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

That’s quite a difference to try and dial out at the headshell, and from personal experience with an Axis and this very model of arm, I can confirm that it’s pretty much impossible to get good alignment with this combination for minimum distortion. The seller may have moved the arm mount out by 3mm, of course.
Chap with the Linn Axis / Jelco SA-750D and Denon 103 has put his price up!

I did ask him whether he had used the correct mounting distance .. he hasn't of course but insists that he 'hears no distortion' despite the fact the cartridge shows no sight of the pushing back/twisting you'd need to do to minimise it when the arm is at the wrong distance. Don't you hate some of these ebay tossers? Some poor bugger will buy this and not know why he's not getting a decent sound out of it.

Not on ebay, but there's a nice little Fidelity Research FRT-3 SUT available on Lenco Heaven at £200 in the sales area. Offered by 'bluetomgold'.

I regard these as the most economic entry into the world of 'proper' SUT's. They sound rather good, I've owned three and they worked well with every low output MC I tried.

Hmm. They and the Sony branded version were about thirty quid when they first hit the market if I recall. Tried them (very briefly).

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”
