    still on the lookout for a mint vinyl copy myself


    blues no point mentioning Folk sing - Muddy waters
    cd or MFSL or vinyl MFSL or 2x45rpm version but all well above 50quid
    or ground zero for modern music
    mr Charlie Patton never mind the historic sounding recordings

    Eric Bibb - "just like love"

    Some beatiful music on this album from opus 3, and probably the most analogue like sounding cd i have heard.

    I feel a bit embarrassed about listing this one but Face Value by Phil Collins is a superb recording.

    Did he produce it himself? I quite like the job he did on the Clapton album 'August'. That's one you could check out too although I've never heard the CD version.

    And I think Exit Music by Stephen Lindsay (Big Dish) is worth a listen.
