Regards Neil
It's an action adventure film about an earthquake and it stars Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. Therefore, I think it's safe to say that no one would go and see it looking for in-depth characterisation, meaningful plot subtleties and answers to life's deeper questions!
I watched it on a flight to the USA and I quite enjoyed it in a "leave your brain in neutral, sit back and enjoy" kind of way.
Engineers: fixing problems you didn't know you had in ways you don't understand.
Saw it in 3D at Leicester Square Odeon, quite an experience!
The only disaster movie I've seen that had some intelligence about it, was 'Deep Impact' and even that had some fanciful stuff in it. Good film though.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
