    Odd that since the 4365 sounded excellent with ML amplification.

    Anyway all moot s far as I'm concerned since I'd have to re-mortgage the house to buy Ian's Everests and that ain't going to happen. Taken me 20 years to pay the bastard off.

    I'm not a fan of the genre but the Big Phat Band track being played comes from an excellent album, the sonics of which are fantastic.

    Not apparent in the JBL room.

    I went in there a multitude of times. It was never good.

    Most demonstrations at audio shows sound like PA systems IMO.

    Nope, but I will be trying it with an active pre over the weekend since I have to dismantle the other system anyway.

    Preamps: Heavily-modified Croft Charisma-X. LDR Stereo Coffee. Power Amps: Tube Distinctions Copper Amp fitted with Tungsol KT-150s. Quad 306.

    Cables & Sundries: Mark Grant HDX1 interconnects and digital coaxial cable, plus Mark Grant 6mm UP-LCOFC Van Damme speaker cable. MCRU 'Ultimate' mains leads. Lehmann clone headphone amp with vintage Koss PRO-4AAA headphones.

    Tube Distinctions digital noise filter. VPI HW16.5 record cleaning machine.

    Speakers: Tannoy 15MGs in Lockwood cabinets with modified crossovers. 1967 Celestion Ditton 15.
