It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

So 'high end' it looks like you have to fit your own stylus

    More like 'Knob end'.

    Is it a 'bargain'? Hardly!

LP record of 'In The Court of The Crimson King' by King Crimson at £895!!

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/king-crims...gAAOSwJQdXCCqJ

Perhaps I should dig mine out and flog it!

Seventies rock/prog original releases are going for silly money. Not just King Crimson either. Zep, Moodies, Floyd, etc.

Not ebay - i was contacted by a guy that does local house clearances bought HI-FI from him before including a very nice NAK - he sent me a text said he's got a marantz CD67 "Original SE" - so a text later to confirm buying - i picked up after 9am this morning - new plug and shes singing - nice the guys not interested in this stuff and let me have it for £10...

Just dig out the original remote i kept - this alone is worth a million quid you know! haha some prices of some remotes a getting OTT...

I've been unloading my albums from the 90s as they're being re-released. The prices on some of those are nuts. I think I must have been the only person still buying them.

Yep they are the real goldmine stuff. I have a few as I was buying vinyl right to the bitter end, in about 1996. Hanging on to mine, will flog 'em to fund retirement - if I make it that far.
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.

The reissues sound better than the originals in most cases. I think the 90s ones were cut from the same master as the CD. I don't like that they are splitting some of them into dual albums for no reason. If they're doing it to increase the dynamics it makes sense. Most of them I've bought recently don't have enough runtime to justify it.

Another over priced Kraken ( IMHO), this one has a selector switch fault too. I am sure this one has been doing the rounds. Serial number 11 .

I knew I had a copy. The original 1969 Island release. It's in better nick than the one on ebay. The sleeve is far better too.
