    The M55e and At95 are not particularly prone to sibilance even when set up badly! Severe VTA may cause sibilance but if your tonearm is generally level then this should not be an issue.

    So I think it must be something to do with capacitance between arm/ cartridge and headshell or phono cable from TT to amp. Have you tried other cables yet Brian? Can you try different phono stage ?
