A little while ago I noticed that images I was posting were giving access to my Photobucket library, and all you had to do was click on the image in a forum post.
The only way I could stop this happening was to right click on the image in Photobucket, and use the Copy Image Location button.
I then go to the forum post, use the insert image button, then paste the image location details. It's these images that still appear where I've posted them.
All the photos I posted were as you described, you could click and go to my album, mine are all gone now.

This is why I don't trust any of the on line photo library services and host my own pictures.
Even if these companies just do some internal house keeping and change the location/path your links get broken.
Forums are littered with empty frames on older threads because of this and it just got a whole lot worse.

I don't understand why anybody would want to keep their images 'elsewhere' anyway. Mine are on the PC or backed up to CD/DVD or stick. Not stored on some site.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

All my original images are on my local system, but you need some way to host them on line and link to them. If everyone uploaded their pictures to AoS it would overload. I have Hundreds of pictures out their, I'm just loading another 66 from a school reunion, so folks in Canada etc can see them.
