If I may comment on the applied fidelity bearing question?, if the 1210 was up for sale on another forum recently the reason why the bearing indeed the spindle looked lower ( if it's the same one as I've seen ) is because the platter had the Applied fidelity turntable mat ( aluminium backed ) in situ which sits dorectly on top of the rim of the platter below , so the spindle would look smaller. If it's the same one I've seen of course .
If it isn't the same one then accept my apologies in advance.
