Yes I agree..my fuses and the holders were cleaned with bluehorizon contact cleaning fluid before I put them in...also a ceramic body plays its part over the standard glass fuse

Has anyone looked into how oxidation affects the physical and electrical properties of fuses? I wonder if one type of oxidation has a more radical affect than another and additionally I wonder if by cleaning the fuses that it's the removal of the oxidation that gives a perceived performance?? Just a few thoughts whilst pondering the subject.
