Default Any CD spinners with twin Coax/optical outputs

I've just been wondering if there are any CD players that have 2 sets of coaxial and/or optical outputs as I am considering using 2 DACs and switching between them when I fancy a change. Anyone know of anything suitable for a reasonable 2nd hand cost (certainly less than £150).

They tend to have one optical and one coax. So you can use two DACs.

    Thanks Stan

I was hoping that there might be a player which would allow me either two coax and/or two optical so that I could make a direct comparison but that would also require me to have the same cables. But a player with optical and coax output would allow me to use two DACs and change when I fancied a different presentation.

I would maybe look at some sort of split coax cable.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have a pair of 2 phono to 1 phono adaptors that I could try, if I can find them.

Meridian 602 CD transport - twin optical to feed left and right digital speakers. Same for the 208 CD player. 602 is about £220-£420 and 208 about £200-£300 on ebay. If you don't need the player bit and pre-amp, I'd go for the 602 because they're quite classy in my opinion..

They're the only ones I can think of.

Thanks for the suggestion but they are out of budget. I've had a Meridian 206 in the past which I really liked. Unfortunately it stopped working and when I sent it away for repair the repairer fell ill and I never got it back.

That's a shame about the budget. Yeah try splitting the digital output, optical splitters are available too for not much. £2.81 from here with one cable included: http://www.lightinthebox.com/1x2-opt...g&sku=429_6917
