    just replaced my pioneer a400 with a nad 3120 c1980ish.
    never heard anything nadish before and was much impressed with the above....totally different to the pioneer.
    I guess some would think the swap a step back but my modest system now sounds more balanced.
    the nad cost me 40 quid and has a button missing....anyone got a spare, nowt on fleabay!!!

    p.s. the a400 is on sale....on the very forum.

    Cables & Sundries: Mark Grant HDX1 interconnects and digital coaxial cable, plus Mark Grant 6mm UP-LCOFC Van Damme speaker cable. MCRU 'Ultimate' mains leads. Lehmann clone headphone amp with vintage Koss PRO-4AAA headphones.

    Tube Distinctions digital noise filter. VPI HW16.5 record cleaning machine.

    Speakers: Tannoy 15MGs in Lockwood cabinets with modified crossovers. 1967 Celestion Ditton 15.
