Succumbing to the every whim of a teenager is a sure way of making a rod for your own back, not to mention doing her no favours in terms of her maturity as an adult (i.e not growing up to become a 'spoiled brat')....
Not that I'm saying you're doing it, as I don't know the situation, but mollycoddling kids isn't the answer.

NB my eldest is home it's 2am and i rang a taxi to pick her up, cost me 15 quid but she's home safe and sound
