Nagra's SN series were the palm-size machines running 1/8" tape. There were a few variations, from mono dual 1 7/8 ips and 15/16 ips speed for logging of surveillance voice recordings for upwards of 7 hours without changing reels, to binaural 2 track machines at 3 3/4 ips designed for recording two tracks but optimised for voice recording (the SNST). Later, they did a proper music recording stereo machine, the SNST-R.
This auction is for what looks like a standard SNST. It's in perfect condition, with all the accessories including the DSP unit for playback eq, which often goes for upwards of £500 as a standalone item. It's not clear if its the SNST-R, I'm guessing not from the SNST DSP unit.
Pricewise it might stick for a while. It's already been relisted once. My feeling is that £3k is more reasonable. If I'd won the lottery I'd make him an offer
