    I'm Barry.

    Default Beagle's new bed.

Mr Snoop is allowed in the house during the cold spell, so he has just been for a bath and I got him a new bed for indoors. Only had pink and I don't think he's too impressed.

I reckon you’re right Barry, he’s not impressed with the pink
    Lovely looking dog.
It’s a nightmare bathing Sunny. Its not that he kicks off or anything, just wont cooperate and I have to lift him in and out of the bath or do it outside with a bucket

I can relate to that. My Jake (lab) loves the water, indeed you can't keep him away from it when we're out for a walk. Try giving him a bath though, and he turns into a boneless hairy bag that I have to carry up the stairs and put in the bath. He slumps there giving you the most mournful look in the world.

    Dogs & water!
You can't keep our pup Merlot out of rivers, lakes & streams either, but show him a bath tub & he'll run for his life.
I've just got back from giving him the highlight of his day - a good hour or so in the woods. He often goes for a dibble in the river when we're there (& a proper swim if I chuck a stick for him to fetch). But this morning the river was almost completely frozen over so I had a few nervous minutes when he was investigating things. Luckily he listened to me yelling at him though.

I wish I'd taken a camera because there were places where the water was flowing over rocks & ice has formed on them, building up so they look like huge chunks of crystal. The best bit was when the sun rose over the hills & everything turned orange.

    You got it Ali
I try not to bath him often and use lanolin based unperfumed soap.
Something that gives endless amusement to passers by and the rest of the family is he wont climb into the truck; I have to lift him in. At close to 50kg and looking more like a bear than a dog it’s quite a sight. If he was fat and lazy and untrained I could possibly understand it but he isn’t.
